Bernina ‘Sew & Show' Apron Challenge

Take part in The Bernina ‘Sew & Show' Apron Challenge – and be in the running to win a fabulous sewing machine!

Spend an hour getting creative and embellishing a base apron with a huge variety of products contributed by our generous CraftExpo exhibitors to make your own uniquely creative apron.

Using a Bernette sewing machine, you can add a variety of textiles including decorative fabric, lace, ribbon, sequins and ric rac; plus adorn with stamping, stencilling, beads, crystals and more. Think fun, fashionable and funky and make your apron a winner!

Apron Challengers will then parade their masterpiece down the catwalk for the judges. Prizes will be awarded each session and by Sunday, the apron maker vote the most creative will win a 'Bernette 82e for Bernina' sewing machine valued at $599!


To join the challenge

•    ‘Sew & Show’ sessions run daily at 10.30am, 12 noon, 1.30pm and 3pm. Each session runs for approximately one hour.
•    Once complete, aprons will be paraded by the makers on the stage at 11.30am, 1pm, 2.30pm and 4pm.
•    Book at the Bernina Stand 150 when you arrive as places are limited.
•    The $5 fee covers everything you need to complete your project. Bernina Consultants will be on hand to show you how to use some of the built in features to create your apron.
