Getting to the Expo

CraftExpo is located in one of Melbourne's oldest and most grand buildings. The Royal Exhibition Building is conveniently located just north of the CBD, and is next door to the Melbourne Museum in Carlton Gardens. PARKING
•    Undercover parking is available, subject to availability, for a daily rate of $12.
Entry is via Rathdowne or Nicholson Street and it is open from 6am to midnight, Monday to Sunday. For confirmation of rates visit www.museumvictoria.com.au or call 13 11 02.
•    For alternative carparks in close proximity to the Royal Exhibition Building, visit www.secureparking.com.au or call 1300 727 483.
•    On-street metered parking also available in the surrounding streets.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Visitors to the expo have various public transport options. You can travel cheaper, easier and greener by exploring one of these many alternatives.

Trams
•    Catch tram 86 or 96 to the corner of Nicholson and Gertrude Streets.
•    There is also a FREE City Circle Tram to Victoria Parade. Look for the burgundy-coloured trams – they provide a convenient way to tour the city centre. Services run approximately every 12 minutes – 10am to 9pm from Thursday to Saturday, and 10am to 6pm from Sunday to Wednesday.

Trains
•    Catch the City Loop train to Parliament Station in Spring Street – a 12 minute walk to the Royal Exhibition Building.

Buses
•    Closest bus routes are 250, 251, 253 and 402 dropping at Rathdowne Street.
•    The Melbourne City Tourist Shuttle is a FREE bus service, stopping at key tourist attractions and destinations in and around the city.
